One beige notebook containing one loose diagram of a circuit and West’s handwritten records of test flights between 1917-1919. Cover titled 'Army Book 136' and inside front cover titled 'Log Book of Flights, 1917, A.G.D. West, 2/Lt R.F.C., [Royal Flying Corps]’. Test flight records start in January 1919 and include weather conditions, pilot names, plane numbers and remarks by West. Includes an attached post it note written by Richard West highlighting the record of the Sydney Pickles Atlantic flight in 1919. Last entry is dated 2 May 1919, ‘Fairey Seaplane, Pilot: Mr Pickles; Route: Isleworth, Black Friars Bridge and back; Test & Remarks: Aero; Preliminary Flight of "Evening News" Seaplane'
