Lectures, addresses and speeches given by A.G.D. West and one by E.V Appleton to various groups spanning throughout the 1920's-1940's. Subjects of the talks cover West's work in radio, television, cinema and his interest in gardening. These talks were given to a variety of groups such as the Society of Motion Picture Engineers, the British Association for the Advancement of Science and the the Conference of Cinematograph Exhibitors, amongst others.
