Paradichlorbenzene (P.D.C.B.) is a white crystalline solid, which when exposed to air slowly evolves vapour with a penetrating but not unpleasant characteristic odour. This vapour has valuable insecticidal properties and can be used without harmful effects of fabrics, furs and other materials.
