Blue Morocco leather case embossed with lattice and flower design. Two latches. Rectangular gilt mat with rounded corners. Bound but not framed. Daguerreotype half length portrait full face of lady and gentleman seated together. Lady clasping book. Faces tinted pink. Gentleman's shirt and lady's blouse pale blue. Tarnishing around edges. Case c. 1851.
