Head dressing in cardboard box. In an oblong cardboard box with printed inscription reading "Tabloid' brand adjustable head dressing compressed'. Wrapped in transluscent brown paper, which is torn and frayed. Stored in the First aid kit used by Rear Admiral R.E. Byrd on exploration flight to the Antarctic, 1930, made by Burroughs Wellcome and Co., 1928-1930
