Original 8mm colour footage, silent, filmed in August 1975 in Shildon, County Durham, England. 25 feet reel. Shildon Calvalcade for 150th anniversary of the Stockton and Darlington railway. Footage content: shots of the locomotives prior to their entry into the public display section. Each locomotive stopped by a man with a flag before being allowed to proceed. The locomotives filmed are Midland Railway (MR) Spinner 673, L&YR 752 0-6-0T including a close up of the builders plate, LNWR 790 Hardwicke and carriage, LNWR 0-6-2T 1054, NBR 673 and carriage, MR 1000 and carriage, LMS 13509.
