Original 8mm colour footage, silent, filmed around 1960-1968. 25 feet reel. Footage content: B1 locomotive reversing from a shed. 9F 92099 passing with a passenger train. 9F 92099 station carrying a headboard. Alnmouth Station sign. Shot from the footplate, 9F travelling down a single track branch line. A4 60019 passing on a stretch of mainline. A2 60532 Blue Peter moving around a shed. Reel has likely been exposed twice, a second faint film appears superimposed on a more visible film.

This film is part of a collection of 150 8mm films made by John Arnott-Brown, railway enthusiast and amateur filmmaker. John Arnott-Brown filmed the railways in the United Kingdom, mostly steam, between 1960 and 1982. A few films include footage of railways abroad, especially Europe (e.g. Portugal, Spain). The collection includes 5 larger 400 feet reels of edited footage, whilst the rest of the collection is made of small 50 feet reels of unedited footage.
