The assortment includes: glass plates - A positive of ‘kodaikanal railway station’ (80mm x 110mm), a positive of children in a field with cows and horses (125mm x 115mm), a positive of observatory equipment – originally in marked envelope, (125mm x 110mm), negative of Evershed and family (130mm x 120mm), positive of a building (110mm x 125mm), positive of mountainous scene (165mm x 215mm), two negatives of lilies, one in a red envelope marked ‘Kodai Lily enlarged negative’ the other in a brown unmarked envelope( 165mm x 215mm). A selection of 8 prints in an envelope marked 'Harry's photographs of Pineda Village Church, people and country'; three other prints, two postcards one addressed to John Evershed from Elizabeth Campbell from the USA, the other from John Evershed and a note addressed to John Evershed acknowledging his letter from the 12th June 1935. Plus a wedding invitation dated 1909 in Indian script.
