Miniature magic lantern projector

No maker's name. All metal, for 3 1/4 x 3 1/4" slides. Single element lens; single condenser; shallow metal reflector. For oil lamp (catalogued at 1990-5036/7195). In metal case.

All metal. Objective and condenser lenses missing. Double section telescopic chimney, belonging to three-wick oil burner, sperately catalogued as 1990-5036/7197.

Magic lantern. Double lantern for 3 1/4 inch square slides; pair of lenses with double V dissolvers, linked for simultaneaous operation, rack focusing. Lens seperation on rack adjusted lens panel on sliding extension. One large rear condenser lens, two smaller front lenses; single light source (missing). Individual single slide holders.

Magic lantern. Wooden body single lantern with iron top and chimney. Side door is hinged with ventilation flaps on bottom of either side. No light source present. Fitted with a double plano-convex condenser in brass mount. With spring loaded pressure plate in slide aperture. 6 inch objective lens fitted, with rack and pinion focusing and single drawtube.

The mahogany body stamped '11'; hand crank, brass-bound lens, lacquered-brass beater movement, rear metal safety shutter, top-mounting film-holder, lantern slide holder and metal lamphouse with chimney. (In maker's original box with lacquered brass fixing screws - 1997-5006/2).

Screw adjustment on 'gate; giving up to 2 1/4 inches separation between lens tube and condenser. Double plano-convex condenser. Petzval type lens with filter slot and flasher. Iron lamphouse, no light source. Side door on each side with shutter blue glass inspection windows. Double rear door. In iron case. Kodak Limited c.1908.
