Illuminated Address, awarded to Mr Joseph Sedman, Passenger Guard, North Eastern Railway, Whitby Branch in appreciation of his conduct whilst in charge of the passenger train on the Goathland incline between Malton & Whitby on 10 Feb 1864 when the incline rope broke, hand written & coloured, paper backed on paper, fragile.
