Dear Smiles,
Some friends yesterday Ev’g to whom I was showing the Tankard said that the Inscription did not appear in the Biography _ I ventured to doubt the statement, but in referring this morning I found it does not, but in its place the resolution proposed at the previous meeting to the presentation of the gift_ Might I suggest that the [illegible word] inscription should appear if not in the text in
