And as there are two Cylinders these will be 221,998.07 Cubic Inches of Steam used each Mt. by this Engine which with this Steam will go ten Miles and will be equal to ten Horses Power this is equal to 128.47 Cubic feet of Steam & 128.47/10 = 12.847 Cubic feet of Steam for each Horse Per Minute – The Temperature whereof in the Boiler is 298o and the Elasticity 50 Pounds per Square Inch
