[illegible] Miles per hour. Now following the same Calculation as on the last [illegible] Pounds for the Friction of a Ton which is less than I should suppose these carriages were capable of.
It appears there was some question whether the Steam in the Boiler was kept up to more than [illegible] Pounds per square Inch and it is even said it was maintained at [illegible] if so, it would give out a greater proportional Friction g for the Carriages.
