A carbon copy letter sent by Professor Ashmore to Mr. C. Jolliffe of the Science Research Council. Professor Ashmore agrees with Mr Jolliffe's modifications to the terms of reference of the Synchrotron Radiation Research Committee, but states some of his own preferences. Professor Ashmore then suggests that arrangements can be made for the creation of the Committee.
