Copy of a letter from Dr. I. Munro to Professor G. Allen

Carbon copy of a letter in which Dr Munro encloses a preliminary summary [not present] he has prepared for the general case for a source dedicated to synchrotron radiation studies, and hopes Professor Allen will find it interesting. Professor Allen is informed that the Daresbury Laboratory will now be conducting the feasibility study, and preparing the scientific proposals and overall case to seek funding for a detailed design study. Dr Munro hopes to arrange a meeting with Professor Allen to discuss various aspects of the source proposal further.
