Internal memorandum concerning Dr. Forty's/Dr. Fendley's correspondence on "International collaboration". Professor Munro informs Professor Ashmore of matters discussed at a meeting of the Synchrotron Radiation Facility Committee, on 26th March 1975, regarding provisions being made for the continued work of experimental programmes once NINA has closed at the end of 1977. He states that no provisions have yet been made and that the programme for a new storage ring at Daresbury has yet to be approved. There is the recommendation that until a new storage ring is constructed in the UK, experimental programmes can continue at either Orsay or Hamburg, with Orsay being the best option.
