Two letters regarding experiments at SRF. The first letter refers to an experimental programme that will investigate extended x-ray absorption fine structure, which is proposed to last three years, and has been submitted to the SRC for approval. The letter also refers to another experiment that Beaumont will be involved in with Professor D. Phillips, Dr. D. Kay and others, relating to x-ray topography studies of diamonds. The second letter relates to this latter experiment, and details the experiment's objective and what equipment will be needed.
