Drawing of Bury's valve gear

Drawing without date or description showing inside plate frames only, and Bury's valve gear, but with the steam chest and slide valves placed between the cylinders, the rocking shafts being thus eliminated; the smokebox tube plate and front plate are flanged; it appears to mark the final stage in the transition from the latest developments of the six-wheeled patent type of 1833 to the Long Boiler patent of 1841. There is no evidence on this drawing of any engine actually built. Drawing reference - 89.
