Forth Street Engine Manufactory
26 Feby 1839
Present the undersigned
The Balance Sheet for the Year ending 31st Decr 1838 was examined from which it appears that the sales of the Year have been as under
viz Engines, amount 45270
Other work 15480
£ 60750
And that the profits have been £11474. 0. 11 that the sum of £1282. 17. 0 has been deducted from the values of Buildings Fixd machinery & Utensils and charged upon the undivided profits of the preceding Year reducing then to the sum of £1783. 12. 6 _
Resolved, that the sum of £10000 shall be divided amongst the partners according to their shares a moiety of which to paid on 31st March next and the other moiety on 30th June next.
Resolved, that £2000 be added to the Capital of the partners according to their respective shares
Resolved, that in consideration of the close attention [2 words scored through] bestowed by Willm Hutchinson

to the interest of the Manufactory and the ability displayed by him in the execution of the details of the Engines, the sum of £150 be presented to him.
