At a Meeting of the proprietors of the Engine Factory, Forth Street, carried on under the firm of Robt Stephenson & Co this 29th April 1841

The works of the concern having been inspected by Robt Stephenson & Edwd Pease (Michl Longridge being prevented by indisposition) each part inspected was found in a satisfactory state, and report is given that orders are on hand for 54 Engines.
E. J. Cook reported that the balance due to this Concern in Cash & Bills in our Bankers hands at this time is £2357 and presented a prospectus of receipts and payments, by which it appeared that at the end of October these may be £10,000 due to the Concern.
The following appearing to be dubious debts, it is resolved that the same be wrote off
