My dear sir

I was very glad to find this bill will now be unopposed --- I observed there was only one Petition against and I presume that was Mr. Pulle??es.
I regretted (illegible) being unable to attend your very interesting lecture on Friday evening, and unfortunately tomorrow any chance of being able to do so is more than doubtful.
