Dear Sir
I am in receipt of your note and have seen ?? Dickinson, the Plan is progressing and it is proposed to make the front terrace or road 60 ft wide with a 10 ft foot path on each side – the road to the side will be

laid out so as to give a good approach to the Bridge when made.
As to the land to be formed by the Township, I was in hopes that you might have spoken to Bulinan, as he may need some influence brought to bear, to bring about a commencement. I will be glad if you

are likely to have an opportunity of seeing him.
As to Hotel, could Ld. Zetland lay the Foundation Stone in the week commencing Augt. 26, give him a choice of day – we ought to be moving.
I have got the consent of the Board of Trade to open Saltburn Br. and will to day

issue a Bill for trains to run on & after Monday.
