I write this in case I don’t see you tomorrow, having to leave for Newcastle at 10.18 --- the profits for the year ending on Monday next may be estimated thus

Making a total withdrawn for the year to 400,000
To pay this £190,000 we must discount our [illegible] & overdraw our a/c about £40,000 but this will be now recovered & we can probably afford to make a further division of profits at the end of

September notwithstanding its capital outlay going on at [illegible] & at its various groups if [illegible]
[illegible] me approving such a distribution as is indicated above & having your concurrence I will give effect to it on Monday.
