My Dear Sir
Northern Counties & North Eastern

I have this moment received a letter from Mess. Buxton Co of which I enclose copy and I have to request your authority to affix the Common seal of the County to the Conveyance. You will observe that it is required to be ready on Sunday next.
With regard to the question in Mess. Bayton’s letter -- I think is to [illegible] purchase

that a Deed of Covenant should be given as to the Marquis of [illegible] that there is no objection to the delivery over of the original Conveyance.
And as to counterpart of the Deed between the North Eastern Rly & the North Counties that it should be had.
Between these several points I beg the favour of your instructions.
Not having as yet had an opportunity of seeing the several members of the [illegible] Committee in London I have convened a meeting for Tuesday for the purpose of

considering what should be done with the £8200.
