Secretary’s Office, Darlington

Dear Sir
I am in receipt of your note.
I am glad you have succeeded with Lord Zetland. I am inclined to think that if we let him carry out the Masonic routine it will add much

to the interest of the event and will give it historical provenance, of course we must carefully count the cost.
These are a few things which require much consideration and I hope you may be coming down on Monday

and may give us a little time.
I will be glad if you could say to day anytime, if you expect to be down on Monday.

I remain Resp’ly
Thos. Macnay

H Pease Esq. MP
