Newcastle, June 24th 1823
At a meeting held this day at the George Inn the articles of the agreement and Copartnership between the undersigned were read over and agreed upon and signed by them viz Robert Stephenson, George Stephenson, Edward Pease and Michael Longridge.
The following goods were then ordered viz
Pair of Smiths Bellows
Anvils
Vices
Sundry Deals, Tiles, Stones &c as per Book.
3 Lathes
An advance of Ten pounds per share was agreed & that the same should be remitted to Robert Stephenson on or before the 30th day of this month ____ Resolved that Sir W. M. Ridley & Co be bankers to this concern.
