Present the undersigned
The Minutes of the last meeting were read. The Cash Account [deleted] ending 31st December last was examined leaving a balance of £129 15. 5d. The erection of No. 2 Smiths Shop was approved of.
The Draft of the Agreement with Mr. Anderson for the purchase of the Ground was laid before the meeting, & ordered to be transmitted to Mr. Edwd Pease for his perusal.
A Further advance of Twenty five pounds per share was agreed upon.
The following orders are in progress, viz.
1 Engine of 8 Horse power for Mr, Bragge
2 Do. of 15 Do. Stockton Steam Boat
2 Do. of 15 Do. } The Stockton &
2 Do. of 30 Do. } Darlington Railway Co.

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read. The erection of the large Shop for fitting up Engines was approved of, & ordered to be immediately made out in the names of George Stephenson & Michael Longridge, / as Trustees for the Company / and executed without further delay: the said deed to be lodged in the companies safe, a declaration of trust is also directed to be drawn & when signed by the trustees deliverd to some of the partners or lodged in the hands of a disinterested Person.
