Glass negative of Essex Yeomanry
A glass photographic negative of the Essex Yeomanry, taken by Edgar Tarry Adams, c. 1900. A group photograph of the men stood around a wagon dressed in wet weather gear. Many Essex men served in South Africa in the Boer War (1899 - 1902) as part of the Imperial Yeomanry.
