Nine photographic prints collected by Edgar Tarry Adams comprising of images of Ventnor, a seaside town with beach, piers, a shipwreck and ships out to sea or in harbour. One of the images is stamped 'Photographed by J E Briddon, 137 High Street, Ventnor' and the other eight images are presumably taken by the same photographer. Ventnor was established as a seaside resort in the late 19th Century and was fashionable as a health retreat
