A glass photographic negative of the North Deal Lifeboat, taken by Edgar Tarry Adams in September 1899. The photograph was taken off the coast of Deal in Kent where Adams had a house. The boat was one of three lifeboats based in the area - North Deal, South Deal and Walmer. Today only Walmer survives.
