A glass photographic negative of Edgar Tarry Adams (1852-1926) possibly taken by his son, Francis Norris Adams, c. 1900. Adams is sitting in his boathouse in Deal, Kent, dressed for sailing and carrying a telescope. Edgar had three boats commissioned for him, which were kept on the beach at Deal
