This collection consists of the internal records of the Science Museum and documents its corporate functions and activities.

Access:: Material is available to researchers through the relevant Science Museum Group archive centre.

System of Arrangement:: Fonds level arrangement reflects the Science Museum Group corporate structure. Series level arrangement reflects the Science Museum Group file plan and Retention Schedule for corporate records, mirroring the corporate function and activity structure. The exception to this is the Science Museum’s Z-Archive, ED/79 series and Dyeline collection as these were created outside of this function and activity structure. As a result, they have been arranged separately using their own structure.
