A press photo with the following caption: 'Wheels of Change at the Museum: Ringing in the changes in uniforms at the Science Museum over the last hundred years are security warders (from left): Shakrokh Azari in the new uniform of today, Robert Frying in the policeman-style one of 1880 and Bernard Jordan in the flat hat uniform which originated at the 1928 opening by King George V. It was a day full of changes at the Museum, with the opening of the East Hall celebrating its Diamond Jubilee plus new exhibitions and the launching of a refurbishing scheme, all in time for the school holiday rush.
