At St. John’s Wood.
Called on Mr. Creed & Mr. Ralston – settled about a Locomotive Engine for Peter America.

Tuesday 16
Met Mr. Durkin at St. John’s Wood – settled Wolverton Viaduct – writing letters and specification for the Wolverton Viaduct.

Wednesday 17
Cornhill – Board met – Tring Contract let - Mr. Townshend got it – wrote letter in reply to Mr. Rathbone on Drawing.
Observations on Mr. Steadholmes plan – not necessarily applicable – open letter than alas a drawing.

Thursday, September 18, 1834
At Watford, examined foundation of Colne Bridge proposed building small instead of large arches – Saw Mr. Foy told him his conduct was [illegible] towards his superior Mr. Buck.

Friday 19
At John’s Wood – met Mr. Lock in the morning - Mr. Parkin about Wealds land – 15 acres wanted for spoil – saw Mr. Parsons the Patenter of a most ingenious Lock.

Saturday 20
At John’s Wood – wrote several letters – called on Ralston - Mr. Creed explained Foy’s conduct.
