Handwritten letter of condolence addressed to Basil H. Joy, written on Maw, Dredge & Hollingsworth headed paper following the death of his father, David Joy.
The writer expresses sympathy and recalls first meeting David Joy 37 years earlier, noting respect for his character and engineering abilities.
