A sepia‑toned photographic print showing a locomotive wheelset fitted with David Joy’s fluid pressure gear, photographed in an industrial works setting. The reverse carries a later pencil annotation identifying the apparatus and giving a Science Museum inventory number for a larger print of the same subject (1894-233).
