Handwritten letter of condolence from engineer Sidney Boulding, written on Green & Boulding, Engineers, 105 Bunhill Row, London E.C. headed paper and addressed to B. H. Joy [Basil Humbert Joy] following the death of his father, the engineer David Joy. Boulding writes that he has seen the announcement of David Joy’s death in the newspaper and expresses his sympathy at Joy’s loss. He remarks that David Joy will be missed from the engineering world, to which he has been a “bright star” for so many years.
