Dear Sirs

Melksham Road
WS & W Railway

We have received your letter this morning & we will lose no time in communicating it to the Trustees.
The fact of its having been possible for you & Mr Ward to misunderstand our Mr Gore in the way you state, shows how necessary it is that the intentions of the Company in regard to the construction of this Road should be stated in writing & my plans so that no misunderstanding may arise between the Trustees & the Company at the ...... & the sooner this is done we think the better.
Not we may say ...... with you but before the Trustees.
