Memorandum: It is agreed between the Directors of the Wilts Somerset & Weymouth Railway Coy & the Trustees of the Melksham Turnpike Trust that in ........ of the Trustees withdraws their opposition to the ....... for making .... the said Company will if required by the sd Trustees within 6 calendar months from the passing of the Bill & at the expense of the sd Coy erect a Bridge for carrying the Road No 9 in the Parish of Melksham over the said Railway & such Bridge & the approaches thereto may ..... shall not be at a greater inclination than in 30 [struck through] crossing with no ...... of the Railway ..... unless the embankment ......

If the inclination of the Road over the said Railway shall be injurious to any Houses on the Melksham side of the said Bridge in which case the inclination shall be as low as practicable.
