Photographs and contact sheets by John Chillingworth for INGOT picture story "Men at Work: The Limestone Quarry"

Contact sheets and photographic prints taken by John Chillingworth for the December 1958 issue of INGOT magazine. The images were taken for the picture story “Men at Work: The Limestone Quarry”, pp. 34-37. The article reports on employees working at the Ystrad Quarry, in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, and their methods for methodically stripping the hillsides of limestone - one of steels vital raw materials. The article contains eight photographs by John Chillingworth.
