The image shows Ebbw Vale steel works with smoke coming from its chimneys. In the foreground is a row of white houses with a person hanging up white clothes and sheets on a washing line.

The print has a yellow job sticker on the reverse with the following details: Job: INGOT, Date out: 13.3.57, Date in: 1.4.57, Screen: 133, Width: 8 inches. In the top left corner, it says ‘File Ingot June 1957’ in pencil
