A 11.5 x 9.7 inch, black and white print taken by Peter Hewitt, on behalf of Richard, Thomas and Baldwins Ltd, showing a British Railways employee (Bill Arnold) inside a pilot tunnel at Folkestone Warren. Arnold can be seen bending slightly whilst standing inside the tunnel as he carries out an inspection for signs of subsidence. This image appears in the picture story “Trade Route Under the Channel,” September 1958 issue, p. 9.

The print has a yellow job sticker on the reverse with the following details: Job: INGOT 9, Screen: 120, Height: 5 3/4, Width: 7. Pencil marks on the reverse indicate where the photograph should be cropped for publication
