The images show various scenes at the channel tunnel including a man inspecting a test tunnel; waves crashing in the English Channel; the entrance door to a test tunnel; a man using the entrance to the test tunnel; an inscription cut into the chalk wall of the pilot tunnel.
Some of the images have been circled in yellow and four of the images have been published in the picture story “Trade Route Under the Channel” by Correlli Barnett and Rolt Hammond, pp. 8-12.
A yellow job sticker on the reverse of one of the sheets has the following information: Job: INGOT p8, Screen: 120, Height: 1 inch, Width: 3/4 inch. On this sheet, an image has been circled in yellow. However, the image published in the magazine is not the circled image
