One contact sheet containing images taken by Peter Hewitt, on behalf of Richard, Thomas & Baldwins Ltd, to be considered for use in INGOT magazine. The images show a variety of individuals at The Times Bookshop and Foyles including people looking at books through the shop windows; large groups of people gathered outside the shops; individuals browsing and reading books. Six of the images have been circled in yellow and one of the images, showing a woman reading in front of a table of books, has been published (INGOT 34, page 14, 1959)
