Contact sheet of people loading bundles of papers on to a van by John Chillingworth

One black and white contact sheet stamped 'Photographs by John Chillingworth' (reference number 275/13) with images to be considered for use in INGOT magazine. The numbers 1 – 12 are written on the reverse of each image in pencil.

Images include various shots of men, possibly shop assistants, carrying bundles of papers and loading them on to a van which says ‘Take Home The Argus’ on the back. In some shots, a sign on top of the van is visable and reads 'Owned, Printed and Published in Monmouthshire.' One of the images shows a shop in the background with ‘Needham’ written across the front. Includes three shots of a busy road photographed behind a bollard with ‘Newport’ written on the side
