Photographic prints, contact sheets and negatives taken by Peter Hewitt, on behalf of Richard, Thomas & Baldwins Ltd, for INGOT magazine. Hewitt was associate editor of the magazine and also wrote some articles to accompany INGOT picture stories. Some of these prints were published in the picture stories "Trade Route Under the Channel" (September 1958), "Remploy - Work for the Disabled" (December 1958), The Film in Industry" (December 1958), "The Frodingham Ironstone" (September 1958) and "The Severn Bridge" (December 1958).
Also includes prints, contact sheets and negatives of 'Smith's Crisps' (1958), 'Newport Site, Summer 1959' (1959), Foyles and The Times Bookshop (1959) and ‘a white house, cranes retrieving iron ore and boats carrying boxes of tin plate’ (1957-1963). Some of these prints have been published in INGOT magazine but the specific issues are unknown. Some of the prints were taken for consideration for INGOT magazine but were not published
