Thirty-eight negative strips containing images taken by Peter Hewitt, on behalf of Richard, Thomas & Baldwins Ltd, to be considered for use in the December 1958 issue of INGOT magazine. The images show a variety of individuals making furniture or surgical footwear at ‘Remploy.’
Three of the images have been published in the picture story “Remploy,” December 1958 issue, pp. 10-12. These include an image showing a man using a machine to cut leather; a man folding leather on a table; a man with an artificial arm and eye patch using a hammer on a wooden box.
Also includes some images of flamingos and other birds which do not relate to the 'Remploy' article
