One 8.7 x 7.7 inch, black and white print stamped ‘A Peter Waugh Photograph’ with copyright number: 62/42/9/8. This image is published in INGOT magazine and shows an operative shovelling material at the Redbourn Works of Richard, Thomas and Baldwins Ltd. The worker is wearing protective clothing, a hardhat and protective glasses. On the reverse it says ‘File INGOT Jan 1963’ in pencil. Other pencil marks include some illegible notes, but the words ‘shovel’ and ‘Harry Hockney’ can be made out.

The print has a yellow job sticker on the reverse with the following details: Job: P32/048 INGOT, Date out: 11/1/63, Screen: 120, Height: 4, Width: 5 7/8, Notes: S/Q up H/T. Pencil marks on the reverse indicate where the photograph should be cropped for publication
