Correspondence includes for example communications with the tenants, Mr Sage and Mr Morgan and the work Sage did on the estate in exchange for rent; correspondence with solicitors Harston & Bennett who carried out the sale in addition to Cantlie's claim of War Compensation to the Japanese Government (see CANT/1/95); correspondence with Major West who bought the house and inventories of the contents of each room of the house; correspondence with several utility providers and official bodies on the sale of the house.
