A letter from Alexander Cadogan 1938; a letter to Phyllis Cantlie from a friend from war-time capital Chungking 1939 with news of friends; letters from Keith Cantlie (Kenneth's eldest brother) 1942 and 1949 to Phyllis and Kenneth Cantlie with a negative of an locomotive; letter from Foreign Office 1939; four draft letters by Kenneth Cantlie, intended to his brothers Colin and Neil and sister in-law Nancy 1933-1936, two on Ministry of Railways stationary.
